Team dynamics from a group of indvidual personas. When putting toggether a team there are alot of things to consider from cultural to a special skill set , psychology differing Personalities and several more factors. that will help and motivate your team to get a task done fast relaible and well.

We really have to think about the make up of a team and what we need the team to do. We must consider if the people like their work and enjoy their work or they are just there to get a paycheck. We must think of the companies reputation and profit. and individuals performance out side a team setting.

The website team techology defines team dynamics as "Team dynamics are the unconscious, psychological forces that influence the direction of a team’s behaviour and performance. "

What do we need to become or form succeful teams? To target each indivudials skill set to the best advantage and assign them to these tasks. Even though there are different managment styles one of them must be tasked with directing and focusing the team to the task at hand. So this person needs to be a good communicator and some one who can solve disputes quickly and it alwasy helped to be respected or like by the majority of the group. Make sure this person can tackle problems and conflicts as soon as possible.Mind tools recomends creating a team or group charter defining the missions and reponsibilities and what to do when ever conflicts arise.(Team Technology,2011)

As mentioned sometimes when forming a new team you may have to introduce or use a member that is from outside the group and company and as a result may be ditrustful of this new person moving in on the turf. Humans can be territoritorial or cliqueish even in groups. There even may be hostile to the new person and even be a threat to a persons advancement.Melissa Thomas-Hunt, Associate Professor of Business Administration at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business recomends some of the following; What a person can do to be accepted into this group? A good thing to do is to start fitting in is ask questions be friendly even if you know the answers ask questions and that will go along ways towards people trusting you and in return it makes them feel needed by you the outsider and can lower their percived threat level of thiers about you. Do not try to dominate the conversersation or project ask freindly questions about family whats it like to work here small ice breakers that you would do in any setting.(Haden,2014)

A team can not and will not be successful if any of the above things are not in balance. It will slow down progress create delays may even cost the company money in resources and profits and worse case you could lost that million dollar client that your company was hoping that would save them from debt. You do not want to be on that last team who helped close the doors on your employers for good.

Should a group go in two different directions on projects I think not unless the group thinks the other way may be better but it always best to have a plan B in case the current direction is not going the way it was intended, so you should always try to choose the best way when given two alternatives sometimes it will pay off big. You are a team You Win together and you lose together.
